Two of the Trust's strategies to support our vision are; to increase the knowledge of pohutukawa to a world class level through research and through community and school education programmes; and to be the Metrosideros knowledge-bank.

Project Crimson has spent years researching pohutukawa and rata. Browse our research papers available.

Project Crimson has also created a variety of resources over the years which are available to download below; alternatively we are happy to forward hard copies to you.

Since the Trust was formed in 1990, a large volume of research surrounding Metrosideros has been carried out - a lot of which has been funded by Project Crimson, including a detailed bibliography of pohutukawa and rata.
